Weather here is getting warmer. There is no sign of snow. It looks like we are celebrating christmas enjoying sunny and sping-like weather.
Weekend is here again and this week has gone by quickly. Yesterday we headed to Malá Strana and walked around there with Nika and Nelly.
Malá Strana was founded by the King Ottokar II of Bohemia in 1257. The name Malá Strana translated into English literally means “Little Side”
We walked Charles Bridge, Karlův most, which is a famous historic bridge that crosses the Vltava river. Its construction started in 1357 under the auspices of King Charles IV, and finished in the beginning of the 15th century.
Definitely lot of history and beautiful buildings to see in Prague.
On Wednesday I explored Prague a bit by myself. I found a great hobby store full of beads and a lovely little boutique that sells clothes, jewellery and accessories from Czech, Polish and German designers.
