Midsummer in Radebeul

It’s already midsummer! The most beautiful time of the year in Finland. It’s light all night, Finns go to their summer cabins to celebrate with their friends and family. Midsummer means enjoying nature, sauna, swimming in the sea or lake, eating new potatoes and fish, barbecuing and enjoying some drinks as well.

Midsummer is quiet time in the cities, they are like ghost towns. This is usually very surprising for the tourists. Most of the Finns start their holidays and July is the most popular holiday month.

We are celebrating juhannus this year in Germany and we would like to wish everyone Happy Midsummer! Hyvää juhannusta!
